Terms of Use

By using Gems, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

1. The Gems service

Gems is a mobile app for positive affirmations and short phrases. Depending on the available version, it offers onboarding, an affirmation feed, favorites, a history, custom gems, reminders, widgets and premium features.

The app is designed as a light well-being and personal routine tool. It does not replace a healthcare professional, psychologist, doctor, therapy, diagnosis or treatment.

2. Purchases, trials and subscriptions

Some features may be offered through an in-app purchase, free trial or auto-renewable subscription. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store and are subject to the rules, terms and payment methods of your Apple account.

The price, duration, trial period and renewal terms are displayed in the app before purchase.
An auto-renewable subscription renews automatically unless canceled within Apple's required time frame.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings.
Purchase restoration is available in the app when premium purchases are enabled.
Any refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.

3. Content and acceptable use

The text, visuals, mascots, interfaces, names, logos and content provided by Gems remain the property of their respective owners. You may use the app for personal use, but you may not copy, resell, republish in bulk or commercially exploit the content without permission.

If the app allows you to create your own gems, you remain responsible for that content. You agree not to create or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, violent, misleading or infringes the rights of others.

4. Availability and warranties

We do our best to keep Gems stable, useful and accessible. However, the app may evolve, be temporarily interrupted, contain errors or change features. The service is provided without a guarantee of any specific outcome.

Gems does not promise measurable medical, psychological, financial, professional or personal improvement. Affirmations are content for well-being and personal reflection.

5. Privacy

Your use of Gems is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains the data processed, possible SDKs, purchases, analytics and App Tracking Transparency rules.

6. Changes to or discontinuation of the service

We may change, add or remove features, fix bugs, adjust content or discontinue all or part of the service when necessary. These terms may also be updated. The applicable version is the one published on this page.
